Hello Chieftain!

Some people are so memorable, so larger-than-life, that when they die, even if it's not entirely surprising, it just feels impossible. Steve Irwin was one of those guys. Yeah, you watch him swimming with bloody great crocs, or getting right in the face of a poisonous-ass snake, and you laugh that it's just a matter of time before something happens, but goddammit, it's just not supposed to happen. We need guys like Steve Irwin, who bring enough color and life to the world to make up for the drudge that is our daily life.
